![]() ![]() The fact that you're getting things curing is a good sign though, you may just have to slow some things down. Whats the resin that you're using? I'm assuming it's the stuff that came with it, but is it clear, opaque, orange, grey? I started off using a dark grey resin and I had some trouble getting a calibration profile for it initially. If you preview a sliced cube (without the resin on top of the screen - you may have to re-level afterwards) it should be pretty dang bright. I'm not sure if they'll help or not since you said it was fairly dim. If you could just point me towards a helpful guide, it would be much appreciated. I tried searching the internet, but I keep finding unhelpful "tutorials". After some fiddling around with it, I managed to get it to display an outline, but it's much dimmer than the picture recommends, and when I tried a test print, nothing happened except some of the resin cured and attached itself to the vat.Īny direction or advice you could give would be great. I don't know if the rest of my problems stem from the first one, but I can't get the screen to display a profile properly. I managed to find an old version of Creation Workshop on the internet, but could one of you verify if that is the proper way? I'm lost here. They have their version of Cura on there, which as far as I can tell is only useful for FDM printers. The instructions say to go to the Wanhao website, and under the D7 software downloads, download the Creation Workshop software.Įxcept that software isn't offered on the Wanhao website. I followed the instructions that came with it, but ran into an issue almost immediately. I received a Wanhao D7 resin printer for Christmas, and I'm having trouble getting it to work. Hey guys, I was hoping someone with more experience than I have could help me out here. Non-reddit communities are listed in our getting started guide We welcome community contributions to this wiki!
